Her Story
Senlin Ward, a Louisville native, has over 30 years of experience with nonprofit, government, and higher education organizations. She knew early that her passion centered on marginalized populations, such as women, the un-housed, youth, and people suffering from mental and behavioral health issues.
Before working for DOVE Delegates—Black Wellness Matters, Senlin worked for Jefferson County Public Schools, three local universities, The Coalition for the Homeless, Dress for Success Louisville, and the Jefferson County Office for Women, among other organizations.
Senlin has served on local boards such as Planned Parenthood, the ACLU’s Reproductive Freedom Project, and People Against Trafficking Humans (PATH). She received her Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Louisville.
